Marissa Chesher a valued member of the legal research team operating under Marc Mercier's legal practice.
Marissa is in her penultimate year of a dual Law/Arts degree at the University of Queensland with a GPA of 6.48. Her significant achievements attained at the University of Queensland has seen her awarded with first place in Contract Law, Trusts Law, and Property Law (inclusive of a Body Corporate law component).
Marissa’s prior research experience includes leading the drafting of practise note on Chinese Real Property Law while at her internship with a leading law firm. Further, through her extensive mooting experience she has honed her skills to efficiently find and analyse Court and Tribunal decisions across multiple applicable jurisdictions.
To date she has completed Torts, Contract, Property, Trusts, Criminal Law, Administrative Law, Constitutional Law and Medical Law.
Marissa is currently taking law courses at the university of Queensland in Civil Procedure, Corporate Law and Ethics and is a valued member of Marc's legal research team.
